Central Victorian Netball Association

Central Victorian Netball Association (CVNA) is Bendigo's newly amalgamated Netball Association between Golden City NA (GCNA) & Bendigo Strathdale NA (BSNA).

In December 2023 both associations announced their intention to trial an alignment for Season 2024, which would see their Primary, Junior, Senior, and AA's competitions governed and administered under the one umbrella. There would be three days of competition played at the Golden City Netball Courts. The Winter competition began in April 2024 and a Twilight "short season" competition also ran from October -December 2024.

With the "trial" joint venture end of year fast approaching, members from both executive committees, and with the assistance from Sports Focus Bendigo and support from Netball Victoria, a Community Forum was held, followed by AGM's for both GCNA & BSNA which resulted in both associations members passing Special Resolutions to proceed with a formal amalgamation. The new CVNA Board was appointed and met in December 2024, signalling the official start of the Central Victorian Netball Association.​​​​
